The stroking movement of the spring pin piston accommodates uneven, non-parallel conditions due to mechanical tolerances in the assembly. All Mill-Max SLCs are manufactured to precise tolerances and designed to perform reliably over a long cycle life. Contacts are constructed out of gold-plated, precision-machined brass alloy components and a high-reliability, gold-plated spring.
